TOWN OF SAMPSON

SPECIAL MEETING

August 21, 2009

A Special Meeting of the Sampson Town Board was called to order by Chairman Haller on Friday, August 21^st at 9:00 A.M. at the Sampson Town Hall. Meeting notices were posted in the three designated places. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Haller. Supervisors Richardson and North were present, as was Clerk/Treasurer Reed and Patrolman Bill Richardson. There were three guests in attendance.

The purpose of the special meeting was to open bids for the tree and brushing job, review all current town receipts and expenditures and to determine any future major town expenses.

Chairman Haller opened the two bids for the brushing job. After discussion, Supervisor North made a motion to accept the bid from Boxer Tree Service, Cadott WI for $55.00 per hour for two men. Supervisor Richardson seconded the motion and all present voted aye. Motion carried.

Treasurer Reed discussed with the Board the most current spreadsheets on the towns’ receipts and expenditures and future receipts and expenditures.

Future major expenses were tabled until the next board meeting.

There being no further agenda items for the Special Meeting, a Motion was made by Supervisor North to adjourn the special meeting. Supervisor Richardson seconded the motion and all present voted aye. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:50 A.M.
