Ordinance Restricting Drinking,

Disorderly Conduct and Unnecessary Noises

#1-1978

     The Town Board of the Town of Sampson, Chippewa County Wisconsin does hereby ordain as follows:

     Section 1:  No person shall consume any fermented beverages malt beverages or intoxicating liquors, as defined by the statutes of the State of Wisconsin, which definitions are incorporated herein by reference, upon or within the right of way of any and all public highways and roadways in the Town of Sampson.

     Section 2: No person shall, in a public or private place in the Town of Sampson, engage in any violent, abusive, indecent, profane, boisterous, unreasonably loud, or otherwise disorderly conduct under circumstances in which such conduct tends to cause or provoke a disturbance or annoy any other person or persons.

     Section 3:  No person shall, in a public or private place in the Town of Sampson, make or cause to be made any loud, disturbing or unnecessary sounds or noises such as tends to annoy or disturb another.

     Section 4:  Any person, partnership, corporation, or other legal entity that fails to comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be penalized by the Town of Sampson Penalties Ordinance 1-2007.

     Section 5:  This ordinance shall take effect from and after it passage and publication.
