Special Meeting

A Special Meeting of the Sampson Town Board was held
on Wednesday, 29 October 2008. Notices were posted at the three designated
places. The meeting was called to order
by Chairman Butterfield at 9:00 A.M. Supervisors Gutsch and Haller were present. There were no guests.
The purpose of the meeting was to prepare
the 2009 town budget. The work session discussed all 2007 revenues and
expenses, all existing long term indebtedness, actual and anticipated revenues
and expenses for 2008 and proposed appropriations for each account for 2009.
The 2009 budget was established and the
levy was below the limits mandated by the State. A date for the Budget hearing will be set at
the November 3rd regular Board meeting.

Motion was made by Chairman Butterfield and seconded by Supervisor Gutsch to adjourn
the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 11:15 A.M.
